Resilience Simplified

Andy Bernstein first became interested in resilience as a teenager, when his father and little sister died unexpectedly.
Determined to find answers, Andy explored dozens of processes, including three years working for bestselling author Byron Katie.
In 2004, Andy created his own process, and has spent more than 20 years teaching this as one of the corporate world’s most highly-rated speakers, helping thousands of people break through challenges faster.
The Resilience Academy makes the same tools available to you — and is free to try.

An excellent introduction to resiliency

If practiced well, it can tremendously reduce the burden of stress at work and home.

Eye-Opening

This is more than just accepting that I can’t change my surroundings. Instead it changes my perspective. Very positive.

I kept making the same mistakes in my relationships. This course opened my eyes and gave me the tools to create positive change.

Frequently Asked Questions

Aaron Beck, the founder of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, wrote an endorsement of Andy’s book (“an outstanding guide”), and CBT therapists have used our worksheet with their patients, but this is a lay process that anyone can use to unlock transformational insights in 7 steps.

Not in the traditional sense. This process produces a shift in perspective based on greater clarity, not forced resignation. Instead of walking away saying, “It is what it is,” you walk away feeling lighter and inspired to try new approaches to change.

The first course takes around 30 minutes to complete. It’s divided into short audio lessons that you can listen to whenever you have time.

Everyone is unique, but we can say roughly that for every 100 people who try this, 15% find it “life-changing,” 75% find it “enlightening but want more information to test it out,” and 10% find it “not for me.” Our goal isn’t to persuade that last 10%! We want to help the 90% thrive and go further if they’re interested. But we can’t predict who the 90% is. The first course is free so you can stay skeptical and try it for yourself.
